About

There are now 20+ AI code review tools. They all claim to be the best. Some are genuinely great. Others are wrappers around ChatGPT with a GitHub integration bolted on. We built this site because figuring out which is which shouldn't take a week of free trials.

What we do

We test every tool on real codebases - not toy repos with five files. We set them up on production-grade projects, open real pull requests, and evaluate how they handle actual code. We check if the pricing page matches reality. We verify language support claims. We document what's good and what's not.

Every review follows the same methodology so you can compare tools fairly. We rate on accuracy, platform support, ease of setup, pricing value, and unique capabilities.

If you're a developer evaluating tools for your team, an engineering lead choosing a code quality platform, or a solo developer wondering if any of these tools are worth paying for - this site is for you. We write for people who ship code and want to make their review process faster without sacrificing quality.

Independence

Zero tools pay for placement. Zero reviews are sponsored. When we link to a tool, we may use affiliate links - but affiliates never influence ratings. Tools with and without affiliate programs are reviewed identically. If a tool is bad, we say so. Our reputation depends on being honest, not on making every vendor happy.

How we stay current

The AI code review space moves fast. Tools ship major features monthly. Pricing changes. New competitors launch. We re-verify every review at least quarterly, and we update within 30 days when a tool ships a significant change. Every review shows a "Last Verified" date.
